The National Consumer Law Center or the NCLC provides information about credit laws and bankruptcy laws, among other consumer, credit and debt related topics.

The Better Business Bureau or the BBB

When you are treated unfairly by creditors, credit repair agencies, credit reporting agencies (credit bureaus) or debt collection agencies, you can report or complain to the Better Business Bureau or the BBB. National Internet Fraud Watch Information Center

The National Internet Fraud Watch Information Center is a non profit organization that helps consumers detect and avoid telemarketing and internet fraud. Call the same number as the National Fraud Information Center or visit fraud.org.
