Anonymous or AA meetings, debtors anonymous works in a similar
way. Debtors anonymous offers programs to help people with debt
problems in the same way the AA meetings help alcoholics. You

National Consumer Law Center
The National Consumer Law Center or the NCLC provides
information about credit laws and bankruptcy laws, among other
consumer, credit and debt related topics.
The Better Business Bureau or the BBB
When you are treated unfairly by creditors, credit repair
agencies, credit reporting agencies (credit
bureaus) or debt collection agencies, you can report or
complain to the Better Business Bureau or the BBB. You may want
to report your complaint to both your local BBB office as well

National Fraud Information Center
The National Fraud Information Center helps consumers who
have been defrauded by credit repair agencies. You can
call 1-800-876-7060 or visit their website at
fraud.com.
National Internet Fraud Watch Information Center
The National Internet Fraud Watch Information Center is a
non profit organization that helps consumers detect and avoid
telemarketing and internet fraud. Call the same number as the
National Fraud Information Center or visit fraud.org.

office

attorney general can greatly help you especially when the laws
